Hey y’all! We’re (only very slightly, just barely) famous!!
We just launched What to Eat in Pittsburgh in March 2018, and we’ve already had some press. Hooray!
We are very proud of this mention on on The Incline, one of our favorite sources of local news:
We also got a cool shout-out in one of Adam Shuck’s Eat That, Read This email newsletter! Yeah!
We are also very proud of the attention What to Eat in Birmingham has gotten over the years! Here are some examples:
Our proudest moments, in reverse chronological order:
First of all, the Pizitz project (on which we are consultants) is getting a ton of press! Here are some examples:
Nothing brings a tear to a food blogger’s eye more than a mention and a LINK to our blog by the New York Times!!! Birmingham, the Pizitz Food Hall Project, and What to Eat in Birmingham were all featured in an article on “The Many Faces of Innovation in US Cities.”
Eater, a national food blog with 11 million readers, included Pizitz as one of 9 new food halls to get excited about in 2016!
The project has also been featured in local media:
For example, the Birmingham Business Journal
And al.com
And now onto some non-Pizitz press:
B-Metro recently included us in their list of the “10 Instagram Accounts that Make us Love Our City”! Read more here.
Here’s a great piece from WBHM’s Esther Chiammachilli! Mr Foodie and I were interviewed, right along with Frank Stitt and the owners of El Barrio! Really glad to be included in such good company
The wonderful local podcast Birmingham Shines interviewed us about food in the ‘Ham and about the blog! You can listen to it here.
We were on Flip My Food with Chef Jeff in October, 2014. Daytime TV y’all! It was awesome.
Ms. Foodie was on Saturday Style, Karen Profita’s Radio Show in Baton Rouge.
And not to #humblebrag but: our most popular post ever has more than 6,000 social media likes/comments/shares!!!! Whaaaaat??
